Ice Tstarted beef with Rap artist (?) Soulja Boy.  Soulja Boy took a stab back at Ice T and started the back and forth YouTube argument between the two.  Kanye West defended Souljah Boy saying that he is the true meaning HipHop because he made his own beats and created a new saying, new sound and a new dance all in one song.  Lil Wayne performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!  Timbaland got married last night in Aruba!  Congrats!  According to TMZ.com, Missy Elliot, Omarion and Jimmy Iovine were all in attendance.   It has been confirmed that the talented Amy Winehouse has emphysema.  50 Cent decided to sue his baby mom Shaniqua for defamation of character.  Game starts beef with 50 Cent and Yayo in Young Buck’s defense.  Awww.  Apparently they have a mix tape coming out soon.  Check out the Ice T vs. Soulja Boy You Tube videos on the “Music” page.   

After his break with Sony earlier this year, Omarion has signed with Timbaland’s record label - Mosley Music Group.  His new album with this label is out by the end of this year and Timbaland is set to Executive Produce the project.  The new album is set to feature Keri Hilson and Justin Timberlake.

Here’s what Omarion, who is now 23, had to say about the new label and the new album:

 

“I’m really excited about this project. Timbaland is like family to me, so it’s always great to work with family and I think this is going to be my best album yet. I’m happy to call Mosley Music Group my new home.”

I can’t wait to hear what this album sounds like. Those Timbaland beats are hot!  While I don’t think Omarion is the best singer around, he is a darn good entertainer.  What do you think?
