According to HHW Plies has his own non-profit organization, Big Gates and Plies Power of Visions Foundation, Inc., as well as a scholarship program, “Somebody Loves You” scholarship fund. The Big Gates and Plies Power of Visions Foundation will provide funding for legal representation to those that otherwise couldn’t afford legal representation. Especially those incarcerated. The organization will offer educational forums, classes, workshops, trainings, and other activites to individuals in the Ft. Myers and Tampa, Florida community. The first thing Plies’ foundation is doing will be the “Somebody Loves You” scholarship fund for 2008. His scholarship will award two students (one male and one female) $5000. The student has to be attending an accredited college or university either now or in the fall and have at least one parent incarcerated and is financially disadvantaged.
