Both Lil Kim and Foxy Brown got books deals and neither one actually produced a book.  Foxy was given a $75,000 advance and Lil Kim was given a $40,000 advance!  Shoot I’ll write a couple of books for either one of those advances!  I’m waiting to find out exactly why neither one of them produced anything.  I’m sure each will say it had something to do with them serving jail time.  Whatever!  If they were smart they would’ve been writing those books while sitting behind bars!  Lil Kim was set to release a novel in ‘04 and Foxy was set to release an autobiography in ‘06.  We’ll see what happens.  I’ll keep you posted.

Usher opens up the 2008 BET Awards with an awesome performance.  How many people expected to see Lil Wayne and Beyonce perform with him?  I’m so disappointed.  And what did you guys think of Jennifer Hudson and Terrance Howard?  Best Male Artist award went to Chris Brown!  He deserved it.  Did you all check him out sitting in front row with none other than Rihanna?  Um hmm.  Check Rihanna out rapping along with Young Jeezy.  Ok Ri Ri!  Kanye and Jeezy killed it!  What yall think about Keyshia Cole’s mom?  She look a lil’ suspect to me.  “Holla!”  And Neffi almost popped a boob out!  So…Keyshia Cole just got finished perfoming….oh my God!  WTH was that!?  Her dance moves were wack, she was out of breath, Lil Kim didn’t help the situation….oh no.  I’m a Keyshia Cole fan.  Love the music.  She keeps it real.  But Damn!  What was going on?  And Missy Elliot took home the BET Award for Female Hip Hop Artist of the year.  Missy where you at?  They was looking for you on the Red Carpet as well.  Tell me what yall think.  Leave comments.
