Dawn opens up to Essence Magazine about the future of Danity Kane, whether or not there will be a solo deal for her and jealousy within the group.  Check out the interview below. 

ESSENCE.COM: Last night’s finale of “Making The Band 4” was sort of subdued drama with a pretty ambiguous ending. Diddy has left the ladies of Danity Kane to decide what the group’s future will be. What is your hope for the group?
DAWN RICHARD: We talked about it and there’s a fear we have of losing our fan base. But at the end of the day, Diddy made his choice to let us decide and we would like to continue with the name and the group.  This is our lives and you can’t just say no to your dreams.  I love working with the group. However, it’s so hard to say what will happen. I would prefer that the original group members remain. It’s hard enough for fans to follow as is.

 

ESSENCE.COM: Diddy is a beast when it comes to whipping his groups into shape and his truth hurts. He already let Aubrey go and then D. Woods was a no-show last night. Have you spoken or plan to speak to any of the ladies?
RICHARD: No, I haven’t.

It’s buzzing all over the net that Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods have been kicked out of Danity Kane.  According to YBF Diddy kicked them both out of the group this weekend and  the whole thing was caught on tape. 

Apparently Aubrey was trippin’ and poppin’ fly at the mouth about the whole “Dawn going solo” thing.  Dawn defended herself and spoke on the fact that Aubrey did her own thing on Broadway too.  When Diddy tried to calm things down Aubrey popped fly with him yet again and Diddy basically got tired of hearing her bullsh!t and screamed on her saying, “You know what?  F*ck you, you’re out the group.”  Then he turned to D. Woods, who had nothing to do with this here situation, and said “I heard you were unhappy too.  You can get the f*ck out too.” 

This was also all caught on tape because they were also filming for Season 5 of MTB4.  I also hear that this footage will possibly be aired on the season finale of MTB4 and if not…I guess well be seeing it go down on MTB4 Season 5.  SMH.  Diddy…when will it end?

Dang Diddy!  I think Aubrey does get a little beside herself and it’s a shame that D. Woods had to catch it just for being her homie.   But anyway…we all know that Dawn kills it!  D. Woods is aiight…but Dawn does her thing…ALL THE TIME.  You can’t be mad at her.  If she has the opportunity to do more…like going solo, writing tracks, producing tracks, whatever…then don’t hate.  Go take some lessons and step ya game up!  Aubrey!
