I don’t know about you but I can’t wait!  I had the pleasure of interviewing  Jazmine and i’m almost certain she said the album was due to come out September 16th.  Looks like they pushed the release date back 1 week to September 23rd.  Either way I’m excited for Jazmine.  She wrote every song on the CD and even had the opportunity to co-produced the deal making track ‘In Love With Another Man!’

Also in light of the album release, Jazmine has started a “Fearless Lyrics  Contest” where fans can write lyrics to a special track which Jazmine will record this fall.  The winning lyrics will be recorded and added to a special edition of “Fearless, “  to enter visit: http://www.imeem.com/jazminesullivan.  Good Luck!

BTW I hate special editions and rereleases!  Just give us a new album already.  You’re getting new money right?  We can’t take the old edition or old release back and the new one.  Don’t they know times are hard.  You want me to buy 2 CDs!  Sorry…just had to get that off my chest.

Check out this LoveLiesandMusic.com exclusive interview with Philly’s own songbird, Jazmine Sullivan!  After about a good month of waiting it finally happened.  I got an email from J Records confirming my interview and I couldn’t have been happier!  Once I actually got to speak with Miss Sullivan I knew from the first words she uttered that this was gonna be like speaking with an old friend.  She’s very down to earth!  She touched on what it was like being signed to Jive Records and of course the upcoming album “Fearless,” scheduled to be released on September 16, 2008.  I even got her to give us a lil sumthin sumthin a capella!  Check it out and leave comments.  This interview is just one of many to come!  Enjoy!

Love it!  Love it!  Love it!  I’m feeling this video.  I like the way it’s not all flashy with bright lights and windblowers….ahem Mariah.  I’m so tired of the same ol’ thing in music videos now-a-days.  It’s like you can expect to see gorgeous women/men dressed in the lastest giddups with hair blowing in the wind and bright lights flashing.  This video was like a breath of fresh air.  I don’t know yall….Do you think she’ll fill the void left by Lauryn Hill?  Her voice is incredible!  I think she’ll give her a run for her money if nothing else!!
