Ludacris launches new website called WeMix.com.  It actually sounds really cool.  Check out more details and what Luda has to say about it below.

Over at his new Web site, Luda is holding a contest where up-and-coming MCs can actually win the chance to appear on a remix of “Undisputed” — all they have to do is call a number provided by WeMix.com and spit 16 bars of that hot fire.

“We do contests all the time on WeMix.com,” he explained. “A lot of people don’t necessarily have the means to record [and send in demos], so some can just call and kick the a cappella — the actual 16s — just getting back the essence of what rap is about.”

Luda says that he doesn’t quite know what type of rapper he’s looking for; he just knows they have to be dope.

“It’s one of those things that you know when you hear it,” he added. “I don’t wanna say they have to do specifically metaphors or punch lines, even though that’s what I had to do on that particular song ‘Undisputed.’ As long as somebody just does them, that’s more important. I want people to be like themselves.”

A winner for the “Undisputed” contest will be announced toward the end of the month on WeMix.

In other Luda news, it turns out that he will be releasing his new album “Theater of Mind” on November 25th which is the same day Kanye West is scheduled to release “808’s and Heartbreak.”  I can’t wait for both of those albums!

One Word:  SCRUMPTIOUS!

Jay Z will be doing two FREE SHOWS this weekend.  One in Detroit on Saturday and one in Miami on Sunday.  Both shows are a last stitch effort to get people registered to vote before the deadline.  That’s awesome!  We all need to make sure we are registered to vote and more importantly VOTE ON NOVEMBER 4TH 2008!  It’s one thing to get all these people registered but what about doing a free concert after Election Day for the people who actually vote.  See how many youngsters we’ll have voting then!  But good Jay, * clapping hands * good job! 

So everyone knows that I love Lil Wayne right?  Well good.  Anyway, I just got wind that he’s blogging for ESPN now.  How cool is that?  He’s actually not that bad at it.  We all know how his language can be and sometimes he’s a lil’ hard to understand.  While on my way to the site to read the blog I have to admit I was a little nervous thinking about what I would find.  I was expecting a bunch of terms like “no homo” and him to say something to the effect like “i don’t watch tv.  I watch me…in the mirror…all day.  I watch real life.  ‘Cause if it ain’t real it don’t matter.  No homo…i’m the best thing that ever happened to the rap game.  F*ck sports.  I’m sports.  I am the game.”  LMAO…I’m trippin’.  Anywho, I found this instead:

Lil Wayne’s First Blog Entry

Yes people America’s Next Top Model will be available on Nintendo DS this November!  In the game you can be one  of the girls competing for the title.  You’ll do photoshoots and challenges too!  I wonder if there will be action…like fighting action.  How many times have you wanted to see two of the contestants just go at it!?  Maybe we’ll get lucky.  Tyra Banks…doing big things! 

Check out the trailer for this new movie starring Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah,  Jennifer Hudson, Dakota Fanning, and Sophie Okonedo!  The movie is based on the book “The Secret Lives of Bees.”  I might have to read the book first.  I don’t mind seeing movies that were based off of books…I just like to read the books first.  But after watching this trailer I can’t wait to see the movie!  Every one of the actress’ listed have gotten some type of award or have been nominees except Alicia Keys.  Maybe this is her turn!  Check out the trailer.
