Mos Def’s wife is writing a “Tell All” book about her short lived relationship with Mos Def.  Apparently, Mos Def, who’s real name is Dante Smith, and Alana Wyatt-Smith got married on August 17, 2005 after spending only a weekend together.  Within 2 months the couple had attended fashion week, the MTV Awards and purchased a 850,000 home and…separated.  In this book Wyatt-Smith talks about how she was sexually abused as a child and how she barely survived a previous abusive  relationship.

Wyatt-Smith say’s she’s been trying to get a divorce but Mos Def refuses to sign the papers.  He threatens that if “he can’t have her, no one can.”  She also goes on to talk about how she didn’t press any charges against him because she didn’t want to cause problems for the rapper hoping that this was his first and last time.
