While I love Dr. Cornell West…I can’t co-sign this.  This moment in time is a very historical moment period point blank.  I don’t think Americans will FORGET this moment.  The mentioning of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s name was not necessary.  I knew who he was talking about…and so did millions of other people I’m sure.  Let’s not lose focus here.  This moment in time was memorable…sh!t I made my 11 month old son watch it!  It’s saved on my computer so that I can watch again when he’s old enough to understand what happened on Aug 28th 2008! Obama made history…we made history!  Everyone who voted for him during the primary elections made history.  Let’s make sure we do the same in November.  These two need to stop and be happy in the moment.  Rejoice in the moment. Even in the midst of achievement…when we as a people should unified…there is that chosen few to sit back and pick out what wasn’t done to their liking rather than rejoicing in the celebration of our accomplishment!  Very dissappointing Dr. West…very disappointing.
